Warren County StoryWalk®

The Warren County StoryWalk® located at Eastham Park is a wonderful way for children and families to enjoy nature and literature together. Each post on the trail displays a picture book page, allowing walkers to finish an entire picture book as they stroll alongside the beautiful Shenandoah River. The Warren County StoryWalk® was established in 2021 through a partnership between The Rotary Club of Front Royal, Warren County Parks & Recreation, and Samuels Public Library.

The current featured title is Quiet Bunny & Noisy Puppy by Lisa McCue. Snow is falling, and everyone except Quiet Bunny has settled in for winter. Bear Cub is hibernating in his den. Bullfrog is fast asleep under the ice. Who will play with Quiet Bunny? Along comes a very NOISY puppy, ready to romp in the snow. Can Quiet Bunny and Noisy Puppy be pals, even though they're so different? A heartwarming tale of friendship for the coldest of winter nights.
If you are interested in sponsoring a StoryWalk®, please fill out the Sponsorship Form and return it to the Samuels Library Children’s Department, or email the completed form to mashby@samuelslibrary.net.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
