We have several meeting rooms available for reservation, for groups big and small. Rooms can be booked up to two months in advance, with a limit of three reservations per week. We have two quiet study rooms available on a first come, first serve basis.

Meeting rooms are free of charge to non-profits and organizations that support education and learning. For all other groups, there is an hourly charge with 15 - 30 minute increments prorated, dependent on the room you are using. Contact reservations@samuelslibrary.net for more pricing details.

The library maintains 30 computers for public access. The computers are scattered throughout the building, and each one runs on Windows 10, and has Microsoft Office Standard 2016 installed. Computer use is on a first come, first serve basis - each person is allowed two 2-hour sessions per day.

A public copier is available. Patrons also have the ability to print from any of our public computers.

Patrons may scan documents using our public copier. Use of the scanner is free, we only require that you have your own flashdrive on hand for saving your scans.

A self-serve fax machine is available - it accepts credit and debit cards for payment, or you may use cash to purchase a prepaid fax card from the Circulation Desk. We are unable to receive faxes for patrons.

Wireless internet access is available throughout the building. The service is free, and no access code is required.

Wireless printing is available from within the library from your own personal laptop and mobile device.

We have several notaries on staff. The service is free - please bring your photo ID and all parties must sign the document(s) in the notary’s presence.

Exam proctoring is available. Different educational institutions have different proctoring requirements, so please ask for more information about proctoring at the Adult Reference Desk - you may contact them by phone at 540.635.3153 x105, or email reference@samuelslibrary.net.

The library provides access to a number of online databases, including premium genealogy resources, language learning utilities, online courses, legal forms, and extensive research and periodical archives. In addition to that, we allow patrons to download eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, magazines and music from several sources, as well as provide reading recommendations within our catalog.
