Day of Giving
Pour Your Love into the Library!
February is “National Library Lovers’ Month.” Help us celebrate our 6th Annual Day of Giving on Thursday, February 27th! Two generous donors have committed to matching all donations made throughout the month of February - up to $6,500. Your gift--no matter what size--along with this incredible match, will allow us to continue improving the library and showing our love for the community.

Look Back at Library History
The ‘Silver Tea’ theme for our Day of Giving is inspired by bringing back historical library moments since the establishment of Samuels Library, formerly named the Front Royal Library Society. On February 22nd, 1924, the "Ladies of the Library" came together determined to revitalize the community library. The Ladies held a Silver Tea, which became an annual event where citizens would come together, bring a book to add to the collection, and support the Library.
Our Day of Giving is a chance to honor the legacies of these women and encourage our community to support Samuels Library. It is through this support that Samuels has fulfilled its vision to become the outstanding center of Warren County and the 2024 Library of the Year.
We will have a special display highlighting interesting historical facts about the Library, so be sure to stop by to check it out.
