September is Library Card Sign-up Month, when libraries nationwide join the American Library Association to remind parents, caregivers, and students that signing up for a library card is the first step on the path to academic achievement and lifelong learning.

During September, Samuels Public Library will host Library Card Sign-up Month activities, including:

• A free toy every time a child checks items out
• Month-long Reading Bingo for ages 0 - 18
  • Each completed Bingo Card counts as an entry into the special Grand Prize Drawing
