Winter Reading

Join us for the best Winter Reading Club ever! Beginning Wednesday, January 3rd, experience the magic of reading with our Beauty and the Beast and Other Enchanted Tales theme. As well as receiving prizes for books read throughout this eight-week program, children and teens will have craft programs, movies, puppet shows, magic shows, and a tea party to attend. Winter Reading Club will culminate in a celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, to be held on Saturday, March 3rd.

Upon registration, children will receive a book bag, bookmark, and reading log for use during the program. Free books and winter-themed prizes will be awarded weekly to readers who read one book within a week, and to pre-readers who listen to five books within a week. Patrons may register at the library, or sign up online at this link, beginning Wednesday, January 3rd. For more information, please call 540.635.3153 or visit the Youth Reference Desk.
