Wildflowers celebrate Mother Nature’s glorious emergence from winter. The Shenandoah Valley has a spectacular array of spring wildflowers that are perfect subjects for photography. Sharon Fisher, local photographer, will present simple techniques for photographing wildflowers.
Each presentation focuses on how to compose wildflower photos using any type of camera or smartphone. We will provide advice on settings and share how to find flowers in your own yard. Participants will be encouraged to use their own camera or smartphone to review different settings and to practice taking photos of the wildlife without leaving their home.Follow-up discussion groups will provide participants a chance to share their work and get additional practical instruction and advice. This class will be held using the Zoom platform. Please contact the Reference Desk to register and for assistance in downloading the Zoom app on your device. Register for this event online.
