Small Space Gardening

Presentation will provide practical and applicable information for those attending in using the space available in their apartment balconies, and other small spaces to successfully plant and grow seasonal vegetable and herbs. Speaker will bring several examples of plantings in containers which will be raffled off at the conclusion of the one hour talk.

Join Front Royal artist, Michael Whited, in a class for budding young artists ages 9 to 18. Young artists will complete one work of art in each 1 1/2-hour session. The class emphasizes using basic shapes in drawings and painting, shading and shadowing techniques, and combining elements into a cohesive composition. Techniques may include using colored pencils, water colors, or acrylics.
